What is a high-power LED?

A high-power LED is a light-emitting component capable of delivering a high luminous flux (several hundred lumens) from a single chip or an assembly. Unlike standard LEDs, they require enhanced thermal management and are often mounted on an aluminum substrate to ensure better heat dissipation. They are used in general and professional lighting systems where power, durability, and efficiency are essential.
