What is a through-hole LED?

A through-hole LED, or LED lamp, is an optoelectronic component mounted using through-hole technology. It is directly soldered onto a printed circuit board and emits light according to the chosen color, intensity, and shape. These LEDs are widely used for light indication, dashboards, signaling, or electronic devices requiring high visibility and robustness.
